Lindsay White - Jazz, Hip Hop and Lyrical
Dancing since the age of 5, Lindsay first began her career in dance as a competitive highland dancer before transitioning into Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Lindsay has grown up performing in the lower mainland competitive dance scene. Her love of dance has transpired into a rewarding career as a teacher, coming onto staff in FreeFlight's first year. Lindsay continues to develop her dance by attending conventions each year and taking classes with L.A. and New York based choreographers. She received her yoga teacher certificate in 2003 and teaches yoga both at the studio and in the community.
Lindsay is a full-time teacher at Free Flight, involved in the development of the Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and competitive dance programs. She also teachers and choreographs for The Flow Dance Ensemble. Her love of dance is most apparent through her commitment and dedication to train her students with awareness; focusing on their technique as well as creating a love for performance.
