Rehearsal schedule Ballet + Musical Theatre “Colours of the Wind” and “Just around the Riverbend”

Monday - June 2^nd, at the Bell Theatre – 6250 -144^th St, Surrey (corner 144^th and 64^th)

Please note this is a stage orientation rehearsal for the dancers and is NOT a full dress rehearsal. The teacher will assign students to wear the costume for lighting purposes. All dancers must be in appropriate dance attire with shoes.

4 pm to 5.00 pm – Just Around the Riverbend (Musical Theatre), Oceans, Rocks, Wolves, Moonlight, Bobcats, Berries, Flowers and Bees, Spring and Taylor Grant.

5 pm to 6 pm – Cherry Blossoms, Sun, Sky, Sunset, Rivers, Streams, Rainstorm, Rain, Lightning.

6 pm to 7 pm – Herons, Leaves, Moss, Saplings, Sycamores, Tall Sycamores, Butterflies,Taylor Grant, Colours of the Wind (the Musical Theatre).

Please note that while we try to stick to this schedule as closely as we can, it is not an exact science. I have asked the Bell to open the concession (they are opening from 4 to 8 pm, but will stay later if it’s very busy) for all the waiting parents as parents are NOT allowed into the Theatre for the rehearsal AT ALL. Please do not bring grandparents or overseas visitors and ask me if they can watch as this puts me in a really awkward position, but I will NOT be letting anyone in, at all. This is not a performance, it’s a staging rehearsal, the only one we get, which is why I am re-emphasizing that it’s crucial that no-one misses this rehearsal, it’s unfair to the teams who need to work out spacing, or have someone on stage not knowing which wing to go into or where to exit, etc.

Time: 7:30pm – 10:30pm – only classes that have not participated in competition have to stage their dances.

7:30-8:30pm - Fergalicious, Uptown Girl, Surely, Tootsie Tap, Broadway Baby, What Time Is It?, Miss Karin's Chain Gang Tap

8:30-9:30pm - Sweet Dreams, Umbrella, RubberNeckin, Boom Box Beats, The Moment I Said It, Might Dub Katz, Wall to Wall

9:30-10:30/11pm - Tonights Lecture, Wild Horses, Stomp To My Beat, Hallelujah, Mixed Up, Apologize, Adult Tap

Parents, please wait until the scheduled time is up, then ask at the door if you can pick up your child. If we are running a little late but your child has already rehearsed you will be able to take your child at that time. Please note that ballet students may not be released from the dressing room until intermission at the actual show.
