Carol started her training at an early age in Regina, SK. She studied tap,
ballet, jazz and baton twirling with numerous guest teachers at workshops,
summer schools and dance conventions in Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Chicago,
York University in Toronto, and Vancouver.
Carol achieved honours in all C.D.T.A. tap exams, primary through advanced level
as well as her teacher's certificate. She entered competitions placing 1st at
every outing and was Provincial Tap Champion for 3 years running in
Saskatchewan.
Carol is a former member of the Saskatchewan Provincial Tap Championship Group
the 'Martinettes', as well as the 'Buffalo Gals' Provincial Championship
twirling corp, and the 'Saskatchewan Roughrider Riderettes Twirling Corp',
marching at football games across Western Canada and in Grey Cup parades.
While living in Mississauga, ON, Carol spent 10 years working for the Dufferin-Peel
Roman Catholic Separate School Board conducting dance and twirling classes at an
Elementary and High School level.
She is an award-winning choreographer having successfully entered students in
competition over the last 3 decades. Dancing and teaching have been a part of
her life for as long as she can remember because working with children and
adults, encouraging their love of dance, are what it's all about.
